This is entirely a volunteer endeavour with not-for-profit status, and is rooted in a desire to contribute to the greater good of Nelson/Tasman.

Our intention is to spark conversation, connection and community. It’s something that can be done on a shoestring budget, but also an opportunity to set a precedent for all subsequent TEDxNelson events.

By showcasing some of our brightest thinkers and doers, we have the opportunity to position ourselves as a region rich in innovative thinking with plenty of ‘ideas worth spreading’.

Events will have a diverse range of speakers across several disciplines that address a variety of topics, and we are excited to see TEDxNelson gain the reputation as one of the best iterations of TEDx in New Zealand.
